US Gun Classes has trained Michigan concealed carriers since 2011. Founded by Will Luker, an active law enforcement officer who has certified the instructors behind many of Michigan's CPL classes since 2015, we built our program around one idea: legal knowledge matters as much as marksmanship. It's the class attorneys, judges, and law enforcement take and recommend.

Since 2015, Will Luker has been certifying the instructors who go on to train Michigan's concealed carriers. An active law enforcement officer and firearms expert featured in print and on television, Will loves what he does and it shows in every class. Known for a legal curriculum that attorneys, judges, and law enforcement trust enough to attend themselves and recommend to their families, Will brings real experience, genuine passion, and a no-shortcuts approach to every student he teaches.

Dr. Karissa Pelletier holds a PhD in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Arizona State University and is a former NIH fellow at the University of Michigan Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention. Her peer-reviewed research focuses on child firearm injury, death, and storage practices. USCCA-certified instructor, CPL holder, and firearm owner. She teaches CPL and family firearm safety courses alongside law enforcement officers and a USCCA instructor trainer. Evidence-based, non-political.
